On Saturday, May 23rd, the Provincial House in Córdoba was filled with a festive spirit. In the days leading up to the event, sisters from various communities, along with family and friends, arrived to participate in the First Religious Profession of Elena Gutiérrez Vega and María del Rosario Rossini, as well as the renewal of temporary vows by Sr. Priscila Van der Meulen.
The Eucharist was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in the *Hortus Conclusus* Chapel. Fr. Humberto González, SJ, presided over the Mass, which was concelebrated by priests from various movements and congregations. The vows were received by the Mother General, Sr. Gladis Eberhard, who was thus beginning her canonical visit to our Mother Clara Podestá Religious Province.
It was a day of immense joy. After years spent in the House of Formation, reaching this long-awaited moment was a true gift. The journey was not always easy; there were difficulties, doubts, and crosses to embrace. Yet, we held the certainty that the One who called us would also sustain us with His grace. And so it was: on this day, we consecrated our lives to the Lord with deep conviction—we belong to God, and our hearts burn for Him.
The joy was made even fuller through sharing it. Everyone present helped us experience the tangible love of the Lord. We were accompanied by sisters and laypeople from Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, and Bolivia, as well as sisters from the María Crescencia Province. It was a true family celebration, where the charism and love of Saint Anthony Mary Gianelli resonated powerfully within each of us. “Amidst hope and emotion, the First Profession was for me a powerful sign of God’s presence and His call—a confirmation of His love within the mission of our religious family and of the growing desire to dedicate my life. From the start of the preparation period, I shared an atmosphere of celebration and deep joy with my family, friends, and sisters. I am deeply grateful for every gesture of affection and for every prayer offered for us; it was truly a time of grace” (Sr. Elena Gutiérrez Vega).
