The General Government community is called to live in communion, to promote unity, and to value the richness of diversity within the Institute (cf. C. 185). It carries out its ministry of animation in the light of the Charism and in the mysticism of the Good Shepherd (N. A. 170).
We are an institute of consecrated life inspired by St. Anthony Gianelli. Faithful to the charism of Our Lady of the Garden, we accompany the integral formation of people with love and creativity, especially young people and the most needy.
We announce the Gospel through education, pastoral and promoting human dignity. Following Mary and the charism of St. Anthony Gianelli, we serve the young and the most needy with love, gratuitousness and dedication.
We are women consecrated to God in the Institute (of pontifical right since 1868), founded by St. Anthony Gianelli in Chiavari in 1829.
Mindful of the needs of our time, we propose to work for the good of all, with a special love for the poorest.
Help us make a difference in our communities and around the world; turn your 5×1000 donation into an act of solidarity and generosity.

We are called to extend Christ’s presence through our lives by participating in the Church’s evangelizing mission.
We make our ministries spaces for humanization and communication, so that we may proclaim the Good News with enthusiasm and boldness (Implementation Norm 47).
The Gianelliana Family (FG) is the group of all the people who, together with the Daughters of Our Lady of the Garden, wish to inspire their lives in the Gianellian charism of the “vigilant evangelical charity”, as a gift offered to the Church for the good of everyone.
Formative challenges vary at different stages of life. Aware that, by ourselves, we can do nothing, but that, in God, we can do everything, we open ourselves to the transforming action of the Spirit.
Only a life taken by Christ, touched by His hand, reached by His voice and sustained by His grace is able to give himself freely to the brothers, doing good in all circumstances and situations.
Life, and especially religious life, has value, fulfills you and brings you joy insofar as you decide to love, with all your strength, all the people that God puts in your path.
