5th Gianelline Teachers’ Gathering Strengthens Educational Mission

On the 23rd and 24th, educators from schools within the Gianelline Network participated in the 5th Gianelline Teachers’ Gathering—an event focused on professional development, spirituality, and community building, aimed at strengthening the mission to educate with excellence and commitment.

The program featured the lecture “The Educator: Emotional Health and the Art of (Re)starting,” delivered by Núrfis Vargas, who encouraged reflection on emotional well-being and the importance of fresh starts in teaching practice.

Participants also attended a talk titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom” by Paulo Lima, who addressed the possibilities and challenges associated with using artificial intelligence in an educational setting.

Another highlight was the lecture “The Challenge of Classroom Management” by Luciane Cauduro, which fostered reflection on strategies for more effective and welcoming pedagogical management.

The agenda also included a session on “Gianelline Belonging,” led by Mother Sandra Mora, which reinforced the Gianelline identity, values, and charism that inspire the educational mission across the network’s schools.

Throughout the two days, educators also took part in moments of spirituality and community building, as well as a Sending-Forth Mass, concluding the gathering by renewing their commitment to educate with faith, hope, and love for their neighbor.
